It was winter so obviously she was wearing a dress and flip flops!!!! It was raining that memorable day, but Lisa being Lisa I attempted to cross the wet road, she crossed, but like Cinderella a flip flop decided to stay put. In a split second she had to decide between carrying on or returning to recover the flip flop… She did neither !!! Stranded like a rabbit in the headlights, frozen with two lines of traffic closing down on her!!! Seeing Lisa’s distress both lines of traffic slowed to allow her to recover the flip flop and continue crossing the road. Suitably embarrassed she informed her listeners. One of whom was Darius from California Fried Chicken. Darious was so intrigued by the story he has been an avid listener ever since and now advertises his local business on the station.
