Every week I put together
some of the best bits heard recently on The Bay and link
them into a fun and informative half hour called Best
of The Bay.
So if you’d like to hear
something again or you think you’ve missed something
you’d like, then listen to Best Of The Bay: the show
that does what it says on the tin!
And if you have any comments
or suggestions for the show (helpful ones only please --
I’m very sensitive), then email
martin.dock@thebayradio.com
You can find the last few episodes of Best of The

Biography
I’ve always been interested
in radio but when I didn’t get the first job I applied
for, I gave it all up for an exciting life of
international travel and event management!
In the 80s I worked at an
agency organising overseas incentive trips and sales
conferences for corporate clients, and in 1988 I moved
to Abbey Life in Bournemouth
to run the company’s sales incentives, meetings and
entertainment events.
In the year 2000 I became a
consultant, later specialising in teambuilding using
outdoor and indoor activities to get people to talk and
agree their own solutions to issues at work.
Other jobs I’ve done: picking
grapes, arranging language holidays, escorting coach
groups, working for an oil company, teaching English,
painting yachts and clearing drains (not my favourite
activity).
The best bit: working at The
Bay!
