And its definitely not just talk as we'll have the very best music from the last 40 years. Not only that, there's programmes for young people and specialist music such as Jazz, Folk, Country, and Soul. We can guarantee that you'll love our programmes.

AT THE HEART OF THE COMMUNITY

The Bay is a community radio station committed to enhance the lives and broaden the knowledge of its listeners through entertaining and informative programmes. As well as being one of the best places in the country to live and a premier tourist destination, Poole and Bournemouth are home to many of country's leading companies and nationally renowned charities. With this in mind we have a set out these broad objectives for our community station;

1) Promote economic development and social enterprises

2) Promote social inclusion across Poole and Bournemouth and their diverse communities

3) Promote employment opportunities

4) Increase the awareness and knowledge of local amenities, facilities and community groups

5) Provide opportunities for gaining work experience in radio, media and other supporting activities

6) The promotion of volunteering.

The Bay's will be heard by over 200,000 people in and around Poole enabling it to be at the heart of life in the community.
